Simon Hotel
Just minutes off Hwy 1, Simon Fraser University Conference and Guest Accommodations are proud to offer a variety of accommodation and meeting room choices at our urban mountain top retreat. With accommodations for up to 750, we have options to suit the budget needs of groups of all sizes. Hotel rooms, meeting space, and dining facilities are available year round. Townhouse Quads and Private Residence rooms are available mid-May to mid-August. The Simon Hotel offers 14 rooms total, 11 with a queen bed (Queen Suite) and 3 with a queen bed and a pull out sofa couch (Queen with Sofa Suite). Parking is included in the room rate for the Simon Hotel. Simon Hotel suites include free WIFI, a mini fridge,Keurig coffee and tea brewing system, HDTV, & more.

U’mista Cultural Centre
U'mista Cultural Centre is one of the longest-operating and most successful First Nations cultural facilities in BC, founded in 1980 as a ground breaking project to house potlatch artifacts which had been seized by government during an earlier period of cultural repression. The return of the potlatch artifacts not only provided U'mista's name ('the return of something important'), and sparked a general trend toward repatriation of First Nations and cultural artifacts, it caused the creation of a physical facility and human resources infrastructure which have been successfully operated for over two decades.U'mista now operates a modern museum and cultural education facility in Alert Bay. Their operations include the museum, an extensive art gallery and gift shop, group tours, and presentations by dance troupes.
Blue Horse Folk Art Gallery
The Blue Horse Folk Art gallery was built by two Salt Spring Island artists, Anna Gustafson and Paul Burke. This charming space houses their most recent works of art, and is open to the public. Anna's raku vases and lamps are always in stock, along with her other projects, including gorgeous encaustic paintings. Paul's folk art animal sculptures are joined by his narrative works, including the acclaimed Mrs. Drysdale's Circus collection.Come and enjoy the gallery, see the artists in their studios, and enjoy the beautiful gardens.
Coast Mountain Expeditions
Mountain vistas, sheltered paddling, stunning campsites, abundant wildlife...the Discovery Islands and Mainland Inlets have it all, and with more than 30 years of kayak expeditions under our belts, we can show you the best of the best! Settle in to our off-grid wilderness lodge for an afternoon of kayak skill and safety training before embarking on your kayaking adventure. Meals (both at the lodge and around the campfire) are prepared with organic produce fresh from our garden, eggs from our chickens, local seafood, and home-baked goods. We offer fun and rewarding adventured for all kayaking and fitness abilities. New kayakers are welcome but we also offer exciting challenges for experienced paddlers. We use high quality equipment and our certified kayak guides are friendly, experienced and professional.
Canadian Wildlife Museum and Gift Shop
The Canadian Wildlife Museum is located just minutes north of Vernon B.C. We offer an outstanding arrangement of Wildlife Displays, most of which the average person would never see in the wild. There are over 350 mounted specimens, ranging in size from mice to bison, including over 120 birds of prey and over 115 different species of Canadian wildlife. There is also a large butterfly and moth collection. There are 45 viewing stations, with over 220 different scenes of wildlife. The excellence in taxidermy workmanship and amazing artwork is not just in the mounted animals but also in the natural detailed dioramas. There is also a Gift Shop with many very unique wildlife/nature related novelties, souvenirs, and gifts.
Lowhee Campground
This well-treed campground offers a private and peaceful setting for campers of all kinds, with a deep forest on the south end in the first-come, first-served section, transitioning to a wetland on the north end in the reservable section. Lowhee Campground has 47 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 33 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, three washroom buildings with flush toilets and potable water, as well as a coin-operated shower house. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 50 feet long and 14 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs when backed into the sites. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. Lowhee Campground is located along the west side of Barkerville Highway, 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Lowhee via the highway, or via a well-groomed walking path alongside the highway. Lowhee Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.

MamaYeh is a beautiful Provincial Park-like RV Park in a pristine forest on 145 acres of private land. This Park is privately owned or built in British Columbia, Canada. Located on Highway 97 South, just about a 15-minute drive to Prince George City Centre. MamaYeh is your Main Gateway to exploring the Wild Nature in West Northern Canada and Alaska, USA. All of the guests who visited us from everywhere have enjoyed the peace of this natural RV Park. The vast RV sites with extra-large green buffers in between are their surprising experiences while they stayed.
