Canadian Adventure Company's Mallard Mountain Lodge, accessible only by a 77 km, 30 minute helicopter flight, & accepting only 6 to 8 guests at a time, is the most private & remote Lodge in the Canadian Rockies. This industry unique small guest group size makes it very comfortable to join others at the Lodge, or easy to book the entire Lodge for your group's exclusive use. A variety of package options & lengths of stay are available. Guests of all ages & abilities enjoy backcountry ski & snowboard touring in the Winter, & hiking in Summer. IMPORTANT: We practice catch & release for ALL trips. Under NO exceptions do we keep fish to bring home to eat. Minimum age requirement of 12. All guests MUST weigh between 80-250 lbs (36-113 kgs) due to limited equipment at this time. After picking you up from your accommodation in Whistler we will get you looking like a local BC angler by putting you in a pair of waders and boots. This allows you to get into the water and stay completely dry! Depending on the time of year, you may catch Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout or Cutthroat Trout and your experienced fishing guide will select a water body that will give you the best chance of catching one of these species. Because of this, you may be fishing in a small stream, river or lake. Our thought process is simple. Drive less and fish more to maximize your time out on the water fishing. There are plenty of lunkers a short drive from the Whistler village.

We have 21 rooms that are kitchenettes and 3 2-bedroom suites. We have very strong and fast free wireless access in all rooms. We have a beautiful ocean view and panoramic mountain view.

The SS Sicamous is the largest surviving paddle wheeler in Canada. It is open as a heritage site, museum and wedding venue. Launched in 1914, the ship provided a vital means of transport to remote communities on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The SS Sicamous is operated by the SS Sicamous Society: a non-profit organization that works to protect the marine heritage of the Okanagan.Funds from your admission go directly to the restoration of the SS Sicamous, and the other heritage ships in our care.
