Our 10-acre hobby farm features panoramic ocean views overlooking Juan de Fuca, just 10 minutes drive from Sooke. 32inch flat-screen TV and private entrance and washroom for all 3 units. Each includes a private terrace, coffee makers. The kitchenette offers a full kitchen with 2 plate burner stove and the Muir Cabin offers a full kitchen and L shaped for the bedroom. Guests at Gordons Beach are within walking distance to beaches, hiking and mountain biking trails. Whale watching is possible from the property and each unit offers binoculars. The 100 Mile Nordics operate a groomed trail network for nordic skiing. Our lodge serves up hot soup and snacks daily. Rentals for skiing and snowshoeing are available. Night use is available until 10pm with the assistance of a timed lighting system. Payment at night is made in the honour box next to the lighting system.

Once the home of Rossland's dairy, Red Barn Lodge is well situated for its current role of providing a convenient base for your Summer and Winter outdoor adventures. With wilderness starting at the backdoor and spectacular views of Red Mountain and Mount Roberts from the front, the guesthouse is just 5 minutes by car from Red Mountain Ski Area and Blackjack Cross-Country Ski Area.Rossland's downtown, with its great restaurants and stores, is just ten minutes away on foot. Trails lead from the yard into the backcountry for ski tours, snowshoeing, mountainbiking and walking on the many paths through the surrounding British Columbia Interior Cedar- Hemlock forest. The Trans-Canada Trail runs by just a couple of hundred yards away, through the Red Barn Lodge property. Snowshoes are available to guests.The lodge is well situated in 13 acres of private grounds.
