Learn about the South Okanagan's unique ecosystem, local mining, ranching, and agriculture, and the culture and resilience of the Syilx Okanagan people. Then step back in time by entering the Fairview Jail, one of the few remaining intact buildings from our gold mining past!

We've been home to the best in improv comedy, with Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and more getting their big breaks on our stage. Haida Style Expeditions is a Haida Owned and Operated, family business practicing sustainable tourism on Haida Gwaii. Owners, James & Shawn Cowpar, identical twins, offer over 25 years of experience in the tourism industry. A team of local professional guides, your safety is our number one priority. We provide a variety of cultural tours into Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, Marine Conservation Area, and Haida Heritage Site. Guests will have the opportunity to visit ancient village sites, meet the Haida Gwaii Watchmen, watch for wildlife, and experience nature on any one of our three different tours into Gwaii Haanas. On our West Coast Tour, we explore the Ancient Village site of Ts'aahl (Chaatl) where one can view two of the last frontal poles still standing since contact and learn about the history of the village.
