Lock & Worth Winery shares a tasting room with Poplar Grove Cheese. When you visit you can taste both our wines and Poplar Groves artisanal cheeses together. WHY We strongly believe that one should be able to drink high quality, single vineyard (non-commodity), small production wines that are priced reasonably from British Columbia. We plan to be around 20 years from now, not by becoming a large company but by creating a sustainable business within our community. For us part of that means making wines that always over deliver. HOW We spend all of our money on our wines, not our marketing. We eschew heavy bottles, advertising and fancy labels. In the winery we use old French Oak (not expensive) and have very little in the way of technology (still use basket presses). We are also not part of any marketing groups nor do we submit wines to award or trade shows - all of which cost money. Every penny we save goes toward the quality of our wines and to keeping their prices stable. We hope you enjoy.

Off Grid Log cabin accommodations are located in Dease Lake, B.C an hour from the historic village of Telegraph Creek, BC and the Grand Canyon of the Stikine. 16 Mile Cabins offer 3 distinct and unique cabins to choose from along with two new tenting sites. Cabins are powered by solar and heated with wood stoves. Walking trails are around all the cabins for guests to get out and enjoy our northern boreal forest. Relax in nature. Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch & Guest Cottage ~ Buffalo Tours. A working Buffalo & Guest Ranch. We offer educational buffalo tours daily May thru September. The owner, Leo Downey, does one tour every morning May 15th thru September, starting at 10:15 a.m. (Alberta Time )This includes the native fire making demonstration. We also offer year round accommodations in our fully furnished guest cottage and our peaceful cabin by the creek,, Wagon in the Woods and Buffalero's Bunkhouse in the Barn. Make yourself at home, see buffalo in their natural social order, learn about them first hand, wander the ranch and our pristine river frontage on the beautiful Blaeberry River.

The winery sits on the rolling hills of our vineyard. The peak of the winery overlooks gorgeous views of peaceful Vaseux Lake. The land sits on 10 acres with five acres of planted grapes.
