A scenic 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge is 14km from the ferry terminal at Langdale. It is a charismatic, family-run cedar house nestled amongst many large cedar and fir trees, and is an easy 10-minute walk to the "Heart of the Roberts Creek". The lodge includes a guest kitchen, large sun-deck with hammocks and barbecue, friendly common areas, free loaner bikes, boardgames, and a resource library and book swap. You will have the choice to stay in our 7 bed-dorm Arbutus, or in one of our 3 private rooms: the Fir room (up to 4 people), the Cedar room (up to 5 people), and our lovely Cherry Cabin situated in our garden (up to 2 people). We are the only hostel situated on the lower Sunshine Coast - and you can stay with us from only $28 per night! So come and enjoy a rest in the Creek, but be aware, you'll want to stay longer!

We offer ocean front cottages, yurts and a motel. We rent kayaks, paddle boards and a motor boat. Our marina has 60 slips and accommodates boats up to 50'. You can enjoy a heated chlorine-free pool during summer months.

John Henry's Resort & Marina offers 4 cozy oceanfront cottages and a marina, amidst spectacular Sunshine Coast scenery and beautiful gardens. Quiet and peaceful with views of the harbour, yet within a short walk of John Henry's General Store and Fuel Dock. The Canada Post is attached to the store and inside we offer the Cafe at John Henry's (open on a seasonal basis). Higgin's Inn is a spacious well planned facility close to the most popular beach in Powell River. The suites are large former apartments, beautifully appointed, and fully equipped for short or long-term accommodation. Each suite has a full kitchen, dining room, living room private bath and one, two or three bedrooms. We also have our newest addition: A ground-floor accessibility suite with special features in the kitchen and bathroom to make our guests with mobility challenges extra comfortable. The Penthouse suite is our most popular especially for family and friends reunions.
