There are numerous golf courses around the Vernon area, three beautiful lakes to enjoy the sunny days during the summer. The wine tours are an added feature that we provide while you are enjoying your stay with us. During the winter, Silver Star Ski Resort is near the top of the mountain and only takes 1/2 hour to wind through the most beautiful scenery toward a wonderful ski trip. Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.

Saturna is the least-developed of the main southern Gulf Islands. Almost half the island is protected as part of Gulf Islands National Park. The Saturna Lodge is all about the experience. The lodge is a character-filled property offering comfortable accommodations. It's a wonderful place to shed the stress of hectic urban lifestyles, whether by simple relaxation - in our garden, on our deck or soaking in the hot tub -- or through healthy Saturna exertion - hiking, biking, kayaking, birding, etc. Laura are pleased to announce the Saturna Lodge is closed for the 2018 season but will reopen May 1, 2019! The Mill House Restaurant will reopen the UBQ dinner service, to the public, May 1, 2019.

We offer two B&B room options each with large corner garden view windows, a private Ensuite and hot breakfast. The Rose Room features early 1900 era double bed, side table, armoire and dresser. The Floral Room features Mission style queen bed, two side tables and dresser. The Ensuite has a large soaker tub and separate shower. The third option is a one bedroom self-catering suite with private entrance. The suite also has a queen sized sofa bed enabling four guests in total. A fold-up cot is available upon request.

Transportation for Powell River's Canoe Route and waterways. Transportation is what we do best. Needing a ride to your start point or to get home? How about a group trip?
