The Grizz Hotel opened in September 2019, in that time it has undergone renovations both inside and out. All the rooms were renovated at the start of 2020 including new bathrooms. We now also serve the Wing n' it franchise in both our onsite pub (the Last Drop pub) as well as our restaurant, where hotel guests can enjoy a 15% discount on food. The Whistler Lodge is a 42 bed backpacker's hostel, centrally located just 3km south of Whistler Village and 1km north of Whistler Creekside. Our historic lodge was built in 1965 by students from UBC's Varsity Outdoor Club and until recently, was operated by the Alma Mater Society of UBC.
