The hosts will welcome you aboard the Laroan, the 62-foot Transport-Canada-certified boat. Outfitted with sightseeing decks, a BBQ grill, and a full kitchen/dining area, and washroom facilities, the boat acts as a home away from home during tours of the lake, as well as the Harrison River and Port Douglas. Cottonwood House was built in 1864 offering accommodation, meals, hardware and provisions to many on their journey along the Cariboo Wagon Road to Barkerville or Quesnel. Today, this 26 acre wheelchair accessible provincial heritage site is a tourist destination offering heritage interpretation, hiking, and day use facilities.

On weekends, you can also enjoy lavender ice cream, lemonade, and treats in the shop. Bring some of the beauty home by purchasing fresh or dried lavender bundles.

With the combination of our fantastic horses, fun, knowledgeable, personable guides/wranglers, small or big groups, and the stunning beauty of the scenery, what more can one ask for? Our guests have a passion for horses, want to be out with nature, and have an adventurous side. It is the excitement of crossing a river, riding "the man from snowy river," going thru old growth, river bottoms, crossing slides and alpine meadows, just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong animal beneath you. Located within a Provincial Park, we are the only resort resting on the shores of spring fed Echo Lake. We have 7 rustic lakefront cabins, all with their own deck & dock to enjoy the view from. Our 35 campsites vary from serviced (limited power) and unserviced forest sites, and serviced or unserviced waterfront sites. The lake brings in great fish, and our new 2015 playground and swim dock is great for kids. We would love to have you and your family stay with us at this amazing place!
