The rare white pelican, bald eagles, loons and river otters are just some of the diverse species that you will find locally. A short, 2 hour drive down the famous Hill, or Freedom Highway, is the Bella Coola Valley and the Great Bear Rainforest. Don't forget your camera as you transition from pine plateau to coastal rainforest, as there will be many photo opportunities along the way including grizzly bears and snow capped mountains. Tofino Botanical Gardens are 12 acres of gardens, forest, and shoreline that explore the relationship between culture and nature. A network of paths and boardwalk will take you through our Cultivated Gardens, Sculpture Park, and Old-Growth Temperate Rainforest, where clearings have been transformed into a series of pocket gardens. Some of these gardens display plants that thrive in temperate rainforests around the world including Chile and Japan. Others celebrate cultural groups that have made Clayoquot Sound their home now and in the past, particularly the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations, early Japanese fishing families, and, of course, hippies. The Gardens extend to the Tofino Mudflats, an incredible expanse of intertidal mud teeming with life, revealed twice a day at low tide. Events including Tofino Winterlights, Tofino Lantern Festival, Surfrider Foundation film festival, Food and Wine,Musicians, Weddings and more are hosted within the eclectic scenery.
We are a family-owned winegrowers, producing premium small lot red wines and white wines. We grow all our own grapes and produce our wines on site. Our caves were built to gently age our wines in only the finest of French oak barrels.

A Taste of Victoria Food Tours is an award-winning 2-hour guided historic walking and food tour through Chinatown, Old Town, and the Inner Harbour of beautiful Victoria, B.C., Canada. Starting at the Phillips Brewing Tasting Room, guests will participate in 6 food tastings while learning the vibrant history of this beautiful city.
