After Dark Distillery is a BC small-batch craft Distillery. We produce moonshines, vodkas, whiskey, and gin using 100% locally grown grain. Tours and tastings are available upon request.

Explore the vibrant and contemporary exhibits of First Nations cultures, sit behind the wheel of an early logging truck, step aboard a float house raft, and learn about early days of recreational and commercial fishing. View the film about the destruction of Ripple Rock in the 30-seat vintage theatre. Browse through the Museum Shop, which features First Nations carvings and jewelry, local art and books about the coast. Open year round.

This non-profit society manages over 20 km of nordic trails groomed for classic and skate winter skiing in two areas managed by the club. One area is in town at the Fernie Golf Course featuring 12 km of trails on fairly mellow terrain with wide open spaces. There are also more than 10 km of trails at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre next to Mount Fernie Provincial Park. To reach the Elk Valley Nordic Centre, go west from Fernie on Highway 3. At 3 km from the bridge, turn right at the Island Lake Lodge sign. Follow the road for 0.9 km to the Mt. Fernie Provincial Park sign. Turn left into the overflow parking lot at 0.2 km. The hilly terrain and isolated nature of the trails makes this a very exciting place to ski. The trails link up with the multi-use trails at Fernie Alpine Resort. Trail maps are posted at the kiosks located at the entrances to the trails. Please NO DOGS ON THE TRAILS at any time. The Elk Valley Nordic Centre Warming Hut is located at (49.485633 N, 115.090980 W).
