Travelodge Dawson Creek is an excellent choice for all visitors to the Peace Region. We offer clean and quiet accommodations. Our rooms are very spacious and create a relaxing environment. They also include air conditioning, microwaves, mini-fridges and 42" flat screen TVs. For our long-term guests, we offer rooms with kitchenettes. Each reservation comes with fresh, made to order breakfast in our attached restaurant, Sam's Friends Kitchen. They specialize in Canadian classics as well as Philippine delights. Located in the village of Stuie, British Columbia on the banks of the Atnarko River, Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is located on the traditional territory of the Nuxalk and Ulkatcho First Nations. The lodge is located in an extraordinary area where the worlds most interconnected fjord system, the worlds largest temperate rainforest, and a dramatic mountain landscape of glaciers, plunging creeks, pristine rivers, and granite cliffs converge. Much of the area is now protected as part of The Great Bear Rainforest or Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. The area is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is one of the most pristine grizzly bear habitats in the world. The historic lodge has been welcoming guests since 1931. The True Blue Lodge has 4 fully renovated cabins each featuring full modern kitchens with ranges, microwave, keurig coffee makers, kettles, toaster and pots and pans. Comfort features include queen sized beds, fold down double sized couches for extra guests, hardwood floors, DVD players, smart app TV (Netflix) and guest laundry room. You are able to rent DVDs from the property if desired. When in season, please enjoy the use of the large communal courtyard with BBQ area and outdoor fire pit. Lawn games can be found in the laundry room. True Blue Lodge is Pet and motorcycle friendly! There is Registered Massage Therapy service at additional cost available on the property as well. The Massage service is usually available Tuesday-Fridays.
