Nile Point is a secluded, off the grid resort located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. The resort currently offers a tent platform and 500 sqft canvas tent with ensuite bathroom.

This Farmers' Market offers a unique experience with a permanent outdoor marketplace during the spring/summer including vendor booths, a food barn, a bandshell for local music and a miniature train that runs during the Sunday market. You will find fresh, locally grown produce, meats and eggs as well as fresh baking and preserves. There's plenty of ready to eat food to keep you satisfied as you listen to live music, enjoy local craftspeople and relax around the stage or the children's sandbox. For a relaxing experience to help you get a good sense of what Powell River community feels like, join us from May-Sept on Saturdays from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and year round on Sundays from 12:30 pm - 2:30pm at 4365 McLeod Road. Plenty of parking available including 10 handicap spots close to the entrance.

The rare white pelican, bald eagles, loons and river otters are just some of the diverse species that you will find locally. A short, 2 hour drive down the famous Hill, or Freedom Highway, is the Bella Coola Valley and the Great Bear Rainforest. Don't forget your camera as you transition from pine plateau to coastal rainforest, as there will be many photo opportunities along the way including grizzly bears and snow capped mountains. The Kitimat Visitor Centre provides tourists and locals with local to National information. We have public washrooms, free Wi-Fi and souvenirs and local crafts for sale. In the summer months we have two adult Norco Fluid 4 HT mid-fat mountain bikes you can rent as well as a fleet of 6 sea kayaks, 2 inflatable kayaks, and two inflatable paddleboards including all safety gear needed for a fun day on the water.
