We've been making beer since 2001 in beautiful Penticton, BC. We make beer with flavour, whether it be a German-style lager, a tart fruit sour, a hoppy IPA, or a rich stout. Our taproom is packed with great beer, locally inspired snacks, local wine and cider. We are, in a word, community. Were all looking for it, and now you know where it is. At WESTSIDE SURF, we are at the cutting edge of surf teaching. Utilizing the most advanced techniques developed by over two decades of teaching by director SEPP BRUHWILER Canada's Internationally Known Professional Surfer. We are one of the only family run and family oriented surf school's in Canada; specializing in Family Lessons that are geared towards kids under the age of 13. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Surf lessons, Progressive 2 Day Surf Camps, Private Group Lessons, as well as Private One on One Coaching. You can find all of your surf lesson and rental needs under one roof. This allows you to find the best surf lesson/rental packages in town. The coolest new activity in the Kootenays! Kokanee Mountain Zipline will provide customers with the incredible freedom of flight high above Kokanee Creek and a view of the variety of natural flora and fauna, while at the same time encouraging preservation of the area's significant natural resources and history. This 1.5-2 hour tour with two professional guides on six ziplines will take you up to 300ft off the ground, along 2400ft of the tree canopies. Great Bear Lodge offers grizzly bear tours from May to October at a floating lodge in the Great Bear Rainforest. With no other operators in the river system and a maximum of 18 guests, people can feel truly immersed in nature. Tours start with a spectacular seaplane flight from Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island, and include accommodation, wilderness-gourmet food and bear viewing. The floating lodge is situated at an outstanding wildlife viewing location, where an ocean fjord meets a productive salmon river. The 9 bedrooms all have ensuite bathrooms, and the natural wood decks surrounding the lodge are a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the beauty of the scenery. Two waterfront cabins & a one-bedroom suite on a half acre property on the Ucluelet harbour waterfront. Each unit sleeps 2 with a Queen bed. The cabins have kitchenettes & a deck with BBQ & 2-person Jacuzzi soaker tub. The suite has a full kitchen, a deck with BBQ & exclusive use of a hot tub. Breakfast supplies are provided in each unit, and all 3 units are pet-friendly. Our beach is perfect to launch a kayak or canoe. Lots of wildlife including deer, racoons, sea lions, river otters & Bald eagles; a Blue Heron frequents the rocks off our beach regularly. A few times a year a group of transient Orcas come into the harbor & swim right past our property!

Our friendly staff will help you with any questions you may have, and will provide you with great resources!
