Stellar Descents is located 20 minutes North of Valemount BC in the small community of Tete-Jaune Cache, or a short 1 hour trip west of Jasper passing through Mount Robson Provincial Park.

Creekside Golf Course
Creekside Golf Course is now open for the season. The standard hole size in golf is just over four inches, at our Creekside course, the holes are nearly double that circumference. Just think of the hole-in-one opportunities! The accessibility of this course attracts a whole spectrum of players. Designed by expert golf architect Bill Newis, Creekside Golf Course opened in 2001 and has since been attracting beginners, families as well as seasoned golfers who wish to improve upon their game. Creeksides longest hole is 145 yards (roughly a sixth of the length of the average course), providing beginners with a relaxed experience and giving a confidence boost for the skilled golfer.

Fort Nelson Heritage Museum
The Fort Nelson Heritage Museum is situated just West of the historic Mile 300 milepost on the World Famous Alaska Highway. The museum is located in Fort Nelson, BC, Canada and is operated by the Fort Nelson Historical Society. Fort Nelson is the gateway to the Northern Rocky Mountains and the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area. Mission Statement: To preserve and share the human, natural, and transportation history of the Fort Nelson area. Housed in 8 buildings, the museum offers countless displays and artifacts. View displays on forestry, fire fighting, mining, oil & gas, communications, construction, and wildlife. The museum is also home to a large collection of vintage automobiles. Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve
A 300 acre nature reserve with level walking trails, bird viewing blinds, observation tower and interpretive centre (free) . Known for a large nesting colony of Great Blue Herons which nest from March through July. Great bird and wildlife watching. Check website for free community programs and special events. Trail open dawn to dusk. Rotary Interpretive Centre is open 10 am to 4 pm.
New Denver Visitor Centre
The Visitor Centre in New Denver is the hub of local information for travelers, adventure seekers, and those wanting to experience the local Kootenay lifestyle. The Visitor Centre is housed in the historic Bank of Montreal building (built 1897) and the building also contains the Silvery Slocan Museum. Take a stroll though our 100 year old history, or stay in the now, with free wifi access. We are open part-time during May and June, then will be open 7 days a week from July 1st until Labour Day weekend in September.
Sierra Helicopters
Sierra Helicopters offers scenic flightseeing helicopter and adventure tours of downtown Vancouver, Pitt Meadows and the local Coastal Mountain range. We also offer charter helicopter tours throughout Metro Vancouver, and much of British Columbia.
Peaks Lodge
Offering an à la carte restaurant, Peaks Lodge is located in Revelstoke. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this lodge. Revelstoke Mountain ski lift is 20 minutes drive away. The accommodation will provide you with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a seating area. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator and a coffee machine. The private bathrooms also come with a bath or shower. You can enjoy a mountain view from all the rooms. At Peaks Lodge you will find a hot tub, sauna, a terrace and a bar/restaurant. This property offers ample free parking. Revelstoke Golf club is 3.7 miles away. Revelstoke town centre is 10 minutes drive away.
