Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park
The Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park is located along the banks of the beautiful South Thompson River. The Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park consists of both an inside and outside viewing experience for visitors. The tour of the museum offers a rich history of the life of the Secwepemc people. Once inside the museum visitors can view "The Land of the Secwepemc" DVD, and can then immerse themselves in the beautiful artefacts and displays within the four galleries that are offered.Afterwards, the Heritage park offers a trail of over a kilometre of archaeological remains of a 2,000 year old Secwepemc winter village. The winter village consists of 1 reconstructed winter pit-houses, and summer tule mat lodges which feature various unique food preparation structures. In addition; for viewing pleasure, is one of Kamloops Marshes that is filled with beautiful wildlife and visitors may even be able to get a glimpse of the Coyote (Skelep) and her pups that are currently living in the area.

Chims Cabins
Chims Cabins is located on the west side of Port Alberni along Highway 4, just a 57 minute drive from the city centre and event venues. Ideal for travelers heading to Tofino, visiting for work, or couples seeking quiet comfort. We offer six (6) self-contained cabins with private entrances, full kitchens, and mountain views. Cabins feature queen beds or a combination of queen and double beds, with pull-out couches and roll-up cots available in select units. Amenities include free Rogers Business Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and one dedicated parking spot per unit (extra parking available upon request). Our eco-conscious property offers on-site garbage, recycling, and food waste disposal. Rates are based on double occupancy (2 guests sharing a queen bed) or number of beds provided. $25 + tax per night applies for each extra guest using the pull-out or cot. The Grist Mill & Gardens
The Grist Mill Campground is a small creekside campground on Keremeos Creek, and is part of the Grist Mill and Gardens Historic Site. Each of the eleven serviced campsites back onto the creek and have both water and power. There are also two tent-only sites without creek access. Washrooms are available to campers 24 hours a day. During the daytime, our restaurant is open for lunch and our lovely gardens and site are open for tours.

Haylmore Heritage Site
Visit the homesite of Will Haylmore, Deputy Mine Recorder during the Cariboo Gold Rush. The Bridge River Valley was one of the richest gold producing areas between 1930-1950, lots of amazing history to explore! Come and enjoy the open air site, pan for gold, sample homemade ice cream or shop at the local Artisan's gallery for unique handmade wares. A Visitor Information Centre is also on-site.
Island View Beach Regional Park
This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. Sites are reservable online only, up to 30 days in advance; no first-come first-serve. All sites $25/night; $10 for each additional vehicle. Payable online by Visa or Mastercard.
