Welcome to one of the Cariboo's gems, Martens Resort and RV Park on beautiful Timothy Lake! Our campground is spread over 15 acres and enjoys 1100 feet of shoreline. As you sip coffee in the morning you're almost guaranteed to see fish jumping from the glassy surface of the lake. Whether you fish, waterski, swim, float or simply dip your toes - the lake will call to you (as well as the loons). When guests at our family campground aren't enjoying the lake, they love our volleyball court, playgrounds, yard games, and general vacation vibe. Many campers choose to start their days with a stroll around our 1km nature trail, simply enjoying the symphony of quiet. Bring your boat, bring your kids, bring your dog and come enjoy some camping in BC's Beautiful Southern Cariboo, where the air is clean, the summers are hot and the night sky is crystal clear. We are located in Lac La Hache, between 100 Mile House and Williams Lake in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AUGUST 1, 2023. Nimpo Lake Resort is situated in the beautiful West Chilcotin region of BC. Our full-service log cabins are a perfect blend of modern convenience & country charm. The cabins are set on or near the lake, with gorgeous views of the lake & the coast mountains. Enjoy campfires at your private fire pit or in our large, screened in gazebo. One pet per cabin is welcome in 4 of the cabins. Two RV sites & One Tent site available, all firewood is provided. Rent a boat or bring your own and enjoy fishing for wild rainbow trout. Non motorized watercraft are free to all cabin guests. The area also offers horseback riding, hiking, nature viewing & flight seeing. Please call or email us for information and reservations. This non-profit society manages over 20 km of nordic trails groomed for classic and skate winter skiing in two areas managed by the club. One area is in town at the Fernie Golf Course featuring 12 km of trails on fairly mellow terrain with wide open spaces. There are also more than 10 km of trails at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre next to Mount Fernie Provincial Park. To reach the Elk Valley Nordic Centre, go west from Fernie on Highway 3. At 3 km from the bridge, turn right at the Island Lake Lodge sign. Follow the road for 0.9 km to the Mt. Fernie Provincial Park sign. Turn left into the overflow parking lot at 0.2 km. The hilly terrain and isolated nature of the trails makes this a very exciting place to ski. The trails link up with the multi-use trails at Fernie Alpine Resort. Trail maps are posted at the kiosks located at the entrances to the trails. Please NO DOGS ON THE TRAILS at any time. The Elk Valley Nordic Centre Warming Hut is located at (49.485633 N, 115.090980 W).

Vancouver DeTours Vancouver DeTours is a new project from the acclaimed Tour Guys collective of walking tour guides. Take a deep dive into the multilayered history and spaces of the city by going off-course from the standard paths and stories. A detour is an indirect route or digression, but to DeTour is also to un-know and reimagine Vancouver in critical new ways.

Our Visitor Centre is at the gateway to the Thompson Okanagan region of British Columbia. Our staff are welcoming and provide knowledgable travelling advice for the surrounding area. The Centre itself is the perfect rest stop, offering magnificent views of Okanagan Lake, plenty of parking space, a picnic area, pristine washrooms, free WiFi and EV charging stations. We are wheelchair accessible and our gift shop features Indigenous works & local artisanal goods, in addition to snacks, drinks, ice cream and coffee. We offer free information and resources on activities and resources for the Thompson Okanagan region and other parts of British Columbia.
