Touring the waters around Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, Haida Heritage Site and National Marine Conservation Area on Haida Gwaii since 1988 has earned us a growing reputation for providing fun, educational and safe wilderness adventures at affordable prices. We offer boat tours from one to four days long including fixed roof accommodations and meals. We rent and transport sea kayaks and passengers into the Gwaii Haanas area. We have a small outdoor gear store at our office in Sandspit. We also own and operate the Seaport B&B in Sandspit.

Our winery is evidence of what one man with vision, determination, and a little luck can accomplish. Proprietor and winemaker, Ted Kane, developed a passion for winemaking at a young age. Many Alberta winters were spent learning and planning how to accomplish his ultimate goal; owning and operating a winery in Canada's premiere wine producing area, Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country. 10 years after acquiring it, this perfect piece of raw land has been transformed into a 7 acre vineyard producing several varieties of high quality fruit, a fully functioning winery with a boutique tasting room and, most importantly, our family home. We specialize in the Bordeaux varietals, but also have a selection of white wines and a unique, full bodied Malbec Rose.

Valley Retreat is a fully updated, modern 7 room lodge in a quiet mountain setting just 1.5 km from Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Each of our rooms has a private ensuite, HD TV, WiFi, super comfortable beds with soft linens, organic toiletries . After a day of activity, our guests can chill in the hot tub while enjoying incredible views of the resort and surrounding peaks and take advantage of our gear drying, storage and tune up benches that include complimentary wax (and a bar!) in the converted garage. During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. All of this is still just steps away from beautiful downtown Sidney and the many shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway.
