The downtown location is close to movie theatres, live theatres, restaurants, boutiques, and more.

The Salt Spring Visitor Centre is located in the heart of downtown Ganges at 121 Lower Ganges Rd. Our knowledgeable volunteer counsellors offer a wealth of information and want to ensure you experience an unforgettable visit. Free local maps, ferry and bus schedules, and our brochure can be picked up at any time. We have free wifi and a payphone is conveniently located outside our door. Tour and local buses stop right outside our front door. There is a bicycle rack available and parking is located behind the Visitor Centre.Unfortunately our building is too old to be handicap accessible but if you visit the Chamber of Commerce office at parking lot level, a counsellor will be happy to bring information to you! Shops, galleries, restaurants, parks and more are a short stroll from the Visitor Centre. See you on Salt Spring Island!

The Prestige Oceanview Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of historic Prince Rupert, close to shopping and a variety of great local restaurants. The hotel is only a short stroll to Prince Rupert's Inner Harbour where you can enjoy local attractions, events and entertainment, as well as local artists' specialty shops and more. Deluxe Continental Breakfast (with Hot Waffle Bar) is now included and served in our Breakfast Room adjacent to our new and renovated Lobby area. Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site is an authentic representation of a once thriving community of canneries, boat yards, and residences, along the scenic shores of the Fraser River. Tour the oldest shipyard buildings in British Columbia, as you experience a bygone time when fishing and boatbuilding were flourishing industries on the Fraser River. Many of the buildings date back to 1885 and tell the stories of the diverse community of residents and workers in the historic fishing village of Steveston. The collection of heritage buildings has national value and was designated a National Historic Site in 1992.

Jags Beanstalk is a family owned bistro with four guest rooms. Located in Skidegate on Haida Gwaii, just 1 mile north of BC Ferry Terminal and a 10 minute walk to the Haida Heritage Centre. The bistro is open 6 days a week & closed on Sunday. Bistro serves a full breakfast & lunch menu, espresso coffee & fresh daily pastries. Four guest rooms each have a view w/private bath, cable tv & wifi.
