Castlegar's Golf Club is a championship 18-hole, semi-private course situated above the Columbia River. Our facilities include a fully-stocked golf shop, excellent practice facilities, full service Clubhouse & a new 20 site RV Park. We also offer the following amenities: private lessons, grass tee driving range, practice greens, club rentals & power carts. In 2010, we hosted the BC Amateur and in 2011 the BC Senior games. The championship Castlegar Golf Course has hosted numerous Provincial and National tournaments. A must play on any Kootenay vacation; come and stay in our great new RV Park. Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud. Our small-ship expeditions provide extraordinary and intimate opportunities from April to November, for small groups of six guests to be immersed in the ancient cultures and stunning wildlife of Canadas Pacific Coast. O'Keefe Ranch was founded in 1867 by Cornelius O'Keefe. His family lived on site for 110 years before it was opened as an historic ranch, meaning it still houses one of the most complete collections of one family's stuff (from the Victorian and Edwardian eras) in all of the province. Today O'Keefe Ranch is operated by a non-profit society and is a registered charity. Come visit us during our open season from May to October - stroll along the boardwalk, visit our original buildings (set up as they were more than 100 years ago!), visit the Greenhow museum, and go say hello to our many farm animals.
