Thats where you will find Big Animal Encounters, the most experienced and diverse marine operator in the area. Since 1994, we have been sharing our small piece of paradise with guests from around the world. From our Marine Adventure Centre we offer a wide range of wildlife adventures including: Whale Watching Tours, Grizzly Bear Expeditions, and Scuba Diving Charters. All of our crew are Transport Canada certified and trained marine naturalists. Aboard our fleet of comfortable covered vessels and exhilarating high speed zodiacs we pride ourselves on small group sizes and personalized service while maintaining the highest safety standards. Campbell River is quickly becoming known as Canadas best whale watching destination, and during our tours we will often spot orcas, humpback whales, dolphins, sea lions, seals, eagles and more.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Kettle River Recreation Area and Campground will be fully operational and open as usual on May 6th. The Campground and Day-Use Area was minimally affected by the Rock Creek Fire. Facilities: 113 campsites, 1 large group site, public beach and day-use area, playground, shower, flush toilets, sani-station. Location: 5 km north of Rock Creek on Highway 33. Kettle River Recreation Area is one of the largest and most popular destination family campgrounds in the Okanagan - Boundary Region. Located minutes from amenities in Rock Creek, it is only 45 minutes from Osoyoos and 90 minutes from Kelowna. Campers will want to bring their bikes and floaties! This park offers fantastic biking/hiking opportunities and access to the historic Trans Canada Trail network. A bike pump track was recently added and is a hit with kids of all ages. In the summer months, campers walk their tubes and floaties to the Kettle River that flows alongside the campground, while others enjoy basking on the sandy beaches and swimming in the river. The iconic Kettle River Trestle at the day-use serves as a beautiful backdrop for park users and is a great photo opportunity! Reservations are strongly recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Spring and Fall campers enjoy large, sun-filled sites in a peaceful, pristine setting. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Open from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in September.

We first pick you up from your location and tour through Stanley Park, followed by a stop at Horseshoe Bay to take in the amazing views before heading up to Shannon Falls to see BC's third tallest waterfall. Larch Hills Nordic Society is located half way between Enderby and Salmon Arm in beautiful British Columbia. Daily trail fees are affordable or purchase a membership for an economical option. We offer 57 km of skate/classic trackset trails; 114 km of ungroomed ski trails and 17 km of snowshoe trails. Our groomed trails are maintained by a PB Edge tracksetter and a side by side pulling the Ginzu groomer. There is a beautiful heated chalet with kitchen facilities and indoor washrooms. Our volunteers are active and provide daily grooming, a Safety Host program and ski programs and lessons for all ages.

Tluu Xaada Naay Society (Canoe People's House) is a group of artisans committed to preserving and enhancing the culture of the Haida in areas of visual arts, performance arts, language and tradition.

Step inside the backcountry and share some good times, great food and amazing beer. Take a growler to go or stay and enjoy the pizza, salads, sausages and snacks from the Backcountry Kitchen.
