The Barn building on our property was left empty at the end of our horses lives. Not wanting to have the building unused, we eventually decided to expand our home-based art and photography business which had been housed for years in our much smaller studio into this great new space. After months of renovations ART IN THE BARN GALLERY was born. We went on, to further renovate space to house Gabriels full-service, in-house Photography Studio and a full service on site framing shop. We both have a long history of working in Victoria as well as years of experience in our professions and work spanning Canada and other countries. It is fabulous to have such a wonderful place to showcase our work. While we predominantly display our own art and photography, we also occasionally host other talented people with locally made artwork for display and sale which includes pottery, jewelry. A must see. Our family has been growing delicious blueberries in Chilliwack, British Columbia since 2007. Farming has been apart of our lineage for over 30 years with blueberries as our main focus from the beginning. During the summer months, blueberries are picked fresh daily and frozen to be enjoyed later. We only freeze the best berries, those which we would feel good feeding our own families. With almost 100 acres of blueberries, we are dedicated to growing great tasting berries at an affordable price. Our goal is to grow and produce natural and flavoursome blueberries. We use all-natural and non-toxic products on our blueberries in order to provide our customers with nutritious, fresh and frozen blueberries throughout the year.

The Old School House Arts Centre is the bright yellow community arts centre with a big history nestled in the heart of the picturesque community of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. The Old School House Arts Centre houses ten shared Resident artist's studios and is an established public art gallery and art learning centre. Sprinkled throughout the building are gifting items featuring the work of Island artists, and there are over 80 classes a year to partake in. The Old School House is a non-profit charitable organization that provides vibrant community programming that is open to all - regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, financial status, age, sexual orientation, political belief, or physical limitation.

James Walton opened this infamous East Vancouver brewery in 1994 and today he continues to brew some of the most interesting and delicious beers in the city. Storm is well known for their unique selection of weekly rotating "Brainstorm" brews. You may sample up to 6 different beers by cash donation. The brewery itself is an example of Walton's "DIY" attitude and is a sight to behold!

The Douglas J. Husband Discovery Centre is an accessible space for dialogue and discovery about our communitys past, present, and future.
