Year round we offer calm water fully guided fishing charters and wilderness eagle viewing jet boat tours less than ½ hour from Vancouver. OUR PHILOSOPHY When we first started, our business was based on the three simple things we shared with all of our clients; a love for outdoor adventures, the joy of entertaining friends and a need to share our home in beautiful British Columbia. This became the foundation for the many extraordinary years to come. Victorias newest public golf course is just a short drive from downtown Victoria. We're an 18 hole championship golf course that is the perfect test for all golfers.The course is routed through rolling hills with stunning viewpoints and punishing dropoffs. Island Golfer Magazine says we have some of the best vistas seen anywhere on any golf course as well as some of the best looking holes on Vancouver Island. We agree! Our winery is located in south east Kelowna just 10 minutes from downtown. We produce small lot Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and aromatic white wines. Winemaker & General Manager Grant Stanley sources premium fruit from a select few Okanagan growers and our home vineyard. We showcase the unique terroir of the microclimates of which these varietals are grown. Okanagan Crush Pad has developed a reputation as a leading producer of Okanagan organic wines. With founder Christine Coletta at the helm since 2010, the winery is committed to sustainability in all areas of its business, having recently joined International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA) and setting an aggressive goal to reduce its carbon footprint annually. Chief winemaker Matt Dumayne offers four unique wine portfolios: Haywire, Narrative, Free Form and Bizou + Yukon, guaranteeing a wine for everyones taste and budget. The winery utilizes a host of fermenting and aging vessels: concrete tanks, amphorae, large format oak and stainless steel, all housed in a state-of-the-art facility that is a draw for wine enthusiasts. Wines reflect the region's unique high mountain, northern desert setting noted for its intensely hot, short growing season with hallmark cool evenings. The winery also owns the 320-acre Garnet Valley Ranch in Summerland, a rare piece of vineyard land.

Discover scenic local destinations off the beaten path and watch exciting wildlife. Like the largest congregation of Bald Eagles in the world happening in the Fraser Valley and Squamish areas every winter. Or hike with me on a flat and easy trail close to Vancouver with an abundance of wildlife watching opportunities (e.g. black bears and eagles)

The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the internment of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians during the Second World War. The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre opened its doors in 1994 as an initiative from the New Denver Kyowakai Society to commemorate and honor the stories of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians who were stripped of their civil rights, labelled "enemy aliens" and uprooted from their coastal homes during the Second World War. Located on the site of a former internment camp, the original buildings, period artifacts, interpretive displays, and Heiwa Teien garden designed by the renowned Roy (Tomomichi) Sumi, chronicle this extraordinary episode in Canadian history.

Our spacious property is located next to one of British Columbias oldest and most beautiful golf courses. We have RV sites and a large play area for children and pets. You can stay in a modern cozy villa or one of our serviced RV sites. We are only a short walk to the very relaxing Kettle River. There you can catch a trout or take a very enjoyable float down the peaceful river. We have an abundance of wild life on and around the property. Everything from song birds and birds of prey to deer and elk.

The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.

The Stanley Park Railway is one of Vancouver's most popular attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors per year. Situated on a site cleared by Typhoon Freda in 1962, the two kilometer track travels through the forest in iconic Stanley Park. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun relaxing ride in a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine #374, famous for pulling Canada's first transcontinental passenger train into Vancouver in the late 1880s. The railway hosts events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas and is open for the summer from end-June through Labour Day.
