The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.

Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ocean Light II Adventures offers wildlife viewing and nature discovery tours on the BC Coast. Our trip destinations include; the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary, Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, Great Bear Rainforest and Northern Vancouver Island. Our trips are 1 week in length aboard the beautifully newly refinished 71' Ocean Light II. Our boat is incredibly equipped and maintained and our crew will make you feel at home. We have been offering tours on the Coast since 1980 and our experience is unparalleled. Our small groups provide for an intimate wildlife experience. We take the time to fully immerse ourselves in our environment. We focus on photography tours, mothership kayaking, bear viewing, family groups, and welcome anyone with a passion to explore.

Since 1986 we have been operating tours in the pristine waterways of Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait (Robson Bight), and Blackfish Sound. This area is considered the best place to find Northern resident orca. Large numbers of humpback whales also congregate here during the summer months. Other marine mammals such as Biggs (transient) orca, minke whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, Dalls porpoises, sea otters, Northern sea lions, and harbour seals are regularly sighted on tours. We take 11 people maximum and pride ourselves in offering a more personalized approach to whale watching. The small group sizes offer more intimacy with the wildlife and an opportunity to interact with the skipper. The boat has a marine toilet onboard and provides enough space that when stationary, guests are welcome to move about the boat to take photographs and enjoy the dynamic scenery and wildlife. It is a perfect whale watching platform. We offer ethical, educational, and meaningful experiences.
