Hastings House Country House Hotel is a boutique seaside resort, spa and gourmet restaurant on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. The Sussex-style Manor House and eighteen unique guest rooms and suites, each with its own décor and history, are situated amid twenty-two acres of abundant gardens and grounds. All stays include a fresh cut flower bouquet from our gardens upon arrival, fresh house-made muffins delivered each morning, a full, made-to-order breakfast in the gourmet dining room from 8:00 to 10:00am, and complimentary shuttle service upon arrival and departure. The Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre offers environmental education programs, events and tours at the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area (CVWMA). The CVWMA is a 17,000 acre wetland habitat that is internationally recognized as a wetland of importance (Ramsar Site) as well as an Important Bird Area of Canada. Educational initiatives include: school programs, summer nature camps, guided canoe and walking tours, and a variety of special events suitable for people of all ages. Join us seasonally from May-October for programs. Access to trail systems that meander through the wetland is possible year round. Viewing towers and boardwalks provide unique opportunities to explore this magical place.

Situated in the village of Fernie Alpine Resort with ski-in ski-out accessibility, award-winning Alpine Lodge provides a unique accommodation experience. Blending the atmosphere of a resort with the warmth and service of a B&B, Alpine Lodge is the best of both worlds (and a great place to be after a long day shaking the world-famous powder from your hair). Good friends are made around the huge log fireplace while you sip your wine and share the day's adventures. Alpine Lodge is a purpose built "Inn" type of lodge. Typically found in European and South American resorts, Alpine Lodge was specifically built to offer amenities to cater to an alpine traveler's needs. Ski in/ski out accommodations, a steam room, jacuzzi, drying room, laundry, large fireplace, great room and media room are just some of the sevices and facilities available to Alpine Lodge guests. Bedrooms are all three piece ensuite with shower type facilities. The bedrooms whilst comfortable are not the focal point of the lodge. The common areas are what makes this accommodation particularly unique. Please enjoy them. Alpine Lodge has eight guest rooms on two floors with access from the lobby. All rooms have views of either the ski hill or the forest and trail network. Guests may choose from a king size bed, perfect for couples, two single beds, or one single and one bunk bed. Each room has an attached ensuite with sink, toilet and shower. Our guest rooms are certainly comfortable, but we encourage guests to join us in the Great Room around a roaring fire. The view of the ski hill is wonderful, and this is where some of the best memories of your holiday are made. Our clientele is varied... couples, singles, familiesfrom near and far. During any stay you could meet a traveler from Australia, Japan, USA or just next door in Alberta. You'll all have something in common, a love for the awe-inspiring magnificence of the Canadian Rockies. After a long, 'hard' day on the slopes you'll want to relax your muscles with a soak in the hot tub. A short hop from the back steps to the tub and you'll feel the exhaustion melt away, just in time for dinner. Or perhaps a steam bath is more to your liking. Our steam room is probably the best way to get the cold from your bones on those really chilly days. If you'd like, a massage is also available by request. Several excellent body workers reside in Fernie and make their services available on the ski hill. Check with us when you book your reservation and we'll set it up for you at the lodge. There is Wi-Fi throughout the lodge, but there are no phones or televisions in the rooms. Alpine Lodge Fernie is a place to relax and watch the sunset from the deck, or have a hot tub and massage.

We offer eco-tours of the Salish Sea area near Sidney, BC. Our 12 passenger vessels offer an intimate experience. We also offer water taxi service, camping/kayak/SUP delivery to marine parks in our area. We operate from Canoe Cove Marina - E dock in North Saanich.

This B&B is in the small town of Clearwater, BC on a quiet road in a treed area with superb views of the Thompson River valley and local ski hill. Clearwater is at the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park where spectacular waterfalls, wildlife, and hiking trails are abundant!

We offer 25 spacious campsites, 1 tipi site and 8 log cabins for nightly stays from May - October. The campsites are unserviced and include a picnic table and fire ring. The campground has outhouses with water for hand washing, a shared dishwashing sink and outdoor shower. Inside cabin includes bathrooms with showers and hot water, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, dishes and a variety of sleeping arrangements in the loft. The cabins are all facing towards the wetlands with a view of the Valley. There is a deck out front each cabin with a BBQ and element for cooking, a picnic table and fire ring.

Queen Elizabeth Park Pitch & Putt offers beautiful views of the city, as well as an excellent way of enjoying the natural beauty of the park. This popular 18-hole golf course is surrounded by pretty blossoming trees. The 18 short, contoured par 3s (none over 110 yards) are set along a course where there are no hazards in play, making this a perfect course for those new to the game. Pitch & putt is perfect for new golfers or people who want to enjoy short rounds of golf. Queen Elizabeth Pitch & Putt hosts many activities including day camps, mini tournaments and corporate functions.
