Our family owned resort is on picturesque Round Lake by Smithers/Telkwa. If you like quiet and nature stay here. Central easy access, our forested driveway brings you away from the highway. Guests will come for a month in the summer, or to fish the mighty fall steelhead, to ski Hudson Bay Mountain, a friends/romantic retreat or a quality family vacation. We fish two different premiere locations. Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) located offshore in the North Pacific and Port Hardy (Vancouver Island). Although, both locations are considered a rain forests and are known for culture, beauty and marine life, they are both arguably known best for their legendary bounties of salmon & halibut. All of our rooms have a full kitchen and a beautiful ocean view. Our suites all have undergone extensive renovation. In the upper suites you can sit on your private balcony overlooking the ocean and enjoy the cool sea breezes as you watch the cruise ships pass. The lower suites are walk on waterfront with sliding patio doors opening to our manicured lawn. You have your choice of bachelor, one bedroom or two bedroom suites. Every room has cable TV and high-speed internet access should you get tired of watching the wildlife on the beach or the spectacular sunsets. Unfortunately our accommodation is not suited for small children.
