50North Adventures is an eco-tourism company specialising in small groups offering, intimate tours into Desolation Sound and the Discovery Islands on Vancouver Island British Columbia. Tours though this diverse environment can include Orca & Humpback whale sightings, wildlife encounters, salmon fishing, island hopping and great photo opportunities all of which is accessible only by boat. Size Matters! Small groups with a maximum of 6 guests that allows for a more personal experience. Full customised, private charters are available and families with small children are catered for. The Pinnacle Course at Gallagher's Canyon in Kelowna is an impressive 9-hole, par 32, 1,984-yard executive golf course built to the same exacting standards as the Canyon course. With a variety of tee placements, the Pinnacle's clever design makes it perfect for golfers of any ability; it's challenging enough for beginners to enjoy as they learn the game. Designed by Les Furber and Dick Munn; member GolfBC Group.

Facilities: 14 campsites, day-use area, public beach, rustic picnic cabin, water hand pump. Location: 26 km west of Castelgar on Highway 3. An easily-accessible, roadside park with a sub-alpine lake, Nancy Greene Provincial Park is a welcoming and convenient site for day-users and campers. The park is a popular overnight stop for RVer's and also provides day-use for local residents wishing to escape the summer heat of the valley. It's picturesque lake makes it a great spot to enjoy fishing, picnicking, walking, swimming, and nordic skiing in the winter. Grizzly Bear sightings are common in Spring and early Summer. Open from May 15 through the last weekend in September.

Visit the Arlo's Honey farm, where you will find a wide variety in their specialty Honey, Honey Products, Beeswax Lip Balms and Lotion Bars, Honey Soap, Pure Beeswax Candles and other Local Artisan Creations. Arlo's Honey is a two time award-winner at the Inter-Provincial Exhibition and has been cherished as gifts. Book a tour of the honey farm. Learn about the importance of bees to agriculture, an overview of the hive, and enjoy viewing the bees, or book an extended tour where they will open up a hive for you to see. Tours also include a taste of honey and must be booked in advance. Based on the philosophy healthy bees are happy bees, Arlo's strives to create a clean environment of minimum stress. A visit to Arlo's Honey Farm is a must-do if you are the slightest bit interested in honey, bees and our environment. Open May Long Weekend until after September Labour Day weekend

In traditional French Burgundian style, we focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We have been crafting premium wines in the Okanagan Valley since 2006 and in 2010 we opened our tasting room in Okanagan Falls, British Columbia. We invite you to come visit our winery and nurture your passion for wine while experiencing our little piece of paradise. We are family friendly, we welcome dogs on-leash, and bring-your-own picnics.
