Mount Robson Park is the second oldest provincial park in British Columbia. This popular park offers everything from vehicle-accessible camping to remote, rarely visited valleys. The Visitor Centre is open for the season, has WIFI, washrooms, a store with great souvenirs, provides information and booking options on tours, trails and has many visitor brochures for the region and other parts of British Columbia. Mount Robson Park and six other connected parks make up one of the world’s largest protected areas. Part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage Site, Mount Robson Park protects the headwaters of the Fraser River.

This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. Sites are reservable online only, up to 30 days in advance; no first-come first-serve. All sites $25/night; $10 for each additional vehicle. Payable online by Visa or Mastercard. Facilities: 26 campsites, public beach and day-use area, pit toilets, water hand pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: 12 km from Highway 3 east of Greenwood. Jewel Lake is a popular rustic campground that attracts fishermen, campers, and people looking to explore the great outdoors. It is common to spot anglers fly-fishing for rainbow trout on this scenic 3 km long lake. This truly unique provincial park offers stunning views in a wilderness setting. Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months. Open from the May Long Weekend through the second weekend in September.
