Ideal for business travellers and extended stay visitors, each well-appointed suite (450 sq ft/ 41.8 sq m) features fully-equipped kitchen, flat panel TV, in-room safe, complimentary WiFi, balcony, luxury linens, Starbucks coffee, king size bed in bedroom and queen sofa-bed in living room. Wild Root Journeys offers day and multi-day sea kayak and hiking trips, lessons, and nature retreats along British Columbia's coastline. We are certified guides through the Sea Kayak Guide Alliance of BC offering experience and heart. Our goal is to open doors for those seeking out adventure, time to recharge and growth in nature.

A recently renovated community museum, telling the stories of the Southern Carrier First Nations and the peoples who have settled in the Cariboo in the last 250 years. Listen to stories of Chinese and First Nations Elders at our video stations and meet the residents of the early 20th century through the remarkable portraits of CD. Hoy and C.S. Wing. Participate in scavenger hunts and hands on activities. Keep the memory of your visit alive by treating yourself to something from our gift shop. We have a good selection of history books, souvenir clothing, toys, jewelry and housewares. During the Winter Season ( October to April) the museum is only open on Saturday or by appointment.

Each non-smoking guest room features a flat-screen HDTV with cable, mini-refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, work space, hairdryer, ironing facilities, and air-conditioning. Excellent 300 acre facility and we also host kids summer and winter camps.
