Gulf Islands National Park Reserve is closed for the season until May 15, 2021. Most green spaces and trails are still available for your enjoyment; however, the majority of visitor services are no longer available. Be prepared and use additional caution as search and rescue services are limited. Enjoy your Gulf Islands National Park Reserve responsibly! The Chetwynd Visitor Centre is conveniently located and has ample parking for RVs. The Visitor Centre is within walking distance of many of our 170+ chainsaw carvings sculptures including the annual competition carvings. Basic facilities are public washrooms, high-speed internet with coffee lounge and is pet friendly. Bikes and sport equipment is available for free use during your visit.

The Coast Fraser Inn is located just blocks from the center of town and close to hiking, fishing, white water rafting, mountain biking, and more. Our spacious, well-appointed rooms and suites offer complimentary Wi-Fi, local calling, and hot breakfast. Guests can also unwind in our hot tub or fitness center.
