Your guide, Tomer, started his food journey by working in some of the top kitchens around Mt Pleasant. These days, he works as a farmer and a forager supplying ingredients to those same kitchens. Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.

Saturna is the least-developed of the main southern Gulf Islands. Almost half the island is protected as part of Gulf Islands National Park. The Saturna Lodge is all about the experience. The lodge is a character-filled property offering comfortable accommodations. It's a wonderful place to shed the stress of hectic urban lifestyles, whether by simple relaxation - in our garden, on our deck or soaking in the hot tub -- or through healthy Saturna exertion - hiking, biking, kayaking, birding, etc. Laura are pleased to announce the Saturna Lodge is closed for the 2018 season but will reopen May 1, 2019! The Mill House Restaurant will reopen the UBQ dinner service, to the public, May 1, 2019.
