This gallery is a hidden gem with the work of 26 artists displayed over several rooms. Spacious viewing rooms allow visitors to take in the broad range of artistic styles and subject matters. From the large paintings to the smaller works (fit well in a suitcase), the gallery has a lot to offer. Browsers welcome! The First Friday of each month features an evening reception with artists present, art demos and fun conversation.

Nanaimo Museum: Discover Nanaimos fascinating history in our museum located in the VI Conference Centre. The main gallery offers a sense of what life was like for Nanaimo's earliest settlers and the Snuneymuxw First Nation. Our award winning replica coal mine is a popular stop. The museum also manages the Bastion, an original Hudson's Bay Company post built in 1853. A Taste of Victoria Food Tours is an award-winning 2-hour guided historic walking and food tour through Chinatown, Old Town, and the Inner Harbour of beautiful Victoria, B.C., Canada. Starting at the Phillips Brewing Tasting Room, guests will participate in 6 food tastings while learning the vibrant history of this beautiful city. As of Feb. 2025, we will be offering two new tours! Alleyways and Ales is a craft beer tour, and Vistas & Views is a three-course progressive-style food tour. They run Sat-Mon. Rainforest Tours leads its guests through uniquely West Coast experiences on hikes designed to suit most levels of ability. These excursions range in length from two hours to one full day and explore areas including East Sooke Park and the Juan De Fuca Marine Trail. All trips include transportation to and from the hikes from a specific location within the Greater Victoria Area, a gourmet lunch, and experienced interpretive guide. Guests learn about the ecology and history of the area while experiencing the unique beauty and fresh air of Vancouver Island.
