The Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort is a four season destination featuring contemporary hotel guest rooms, patio views from the Yaqan Nukiy rooms, Ktunaxa Grill, Nasookin Room, and a well-stocked Retail/Gift Shop. This property offers a unique cave experience where soothing, hot mineral water surfaces from the earth creating a natural steam bath. Stalactites form in abundance inside the caves. The hot water flows into our main pool and is cooled to a comfortable body temperature, suitable for your whole family. Our winery is located in south east Kelowna and on our estate we grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. About 80% of our 15 acres of vines is comprised of pinot noir including several different clones. This combination of plantings enables Winemaker Grant Stanley to select from the different characteristics exhibited by these clones in order to create a harmonious, complex Pinot Noir from our home vineyard. We also draw from a number of other vineyards in the Okanagan including Golden Retreat in Summerland and Coyote Vineyard in West Kelowna. Our focus is on premium quality wine which we produce from grapes grown on our estate vineyard and from selected Okanagan Valley vineyards. Our family has been farming on this lovely part of the Oldfield valley since the late 1950's; first in strawberries, and then loganberries for the island wineries in the mid 1960's to 70's. We planted our vines in 2003 and opened our tasting room in 2012. Just 15 minutes north of Victoria near Butchart Gardens, we specialize in dry white wines and lively, lightly oaked reds. We grow Ortega - a signature grape for Vancouver Island, as well as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir (we make a rose and a red from this grape), Millot and Foch, as well as our low alcohol "Splash".
