We are located in the best location to kayak Victoria's Outer Harbour! Avoid busy downtown harbour traffic and quickly paddle with amazing Olympic Mountain vistas, harbour seal colonies, blue herons, eagles, jellies, star fish and kelp forests just around the headland from our shop. We offer several guided sea kayaking tours that range from an Inner Harbour paddle to a true West Coast paddling experience on a full day kayaking tour to a historic lighthouse. Enjoy the flavor of a local marina and paddle with us in Victoria's amazing ocean environment. Bridlewood Riding Centre is an equestrian centre located between Kelowna and Vernon, in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Enjoy the restored Tram Car 1220, originally built in 1912, and the largest artefact in the City of Richmonds museum collection. Housed in a building inspired by the architecture of the first Steveston tram station, Tram Car 1220 now rests on its original rail tracks. Nicknamed the Sockeye Special, the interurban tram service carried workers from Vancouver to Steveston to work in the canneries, from 1905 to 1958.

Kids of all ages love our scavenger hunt, rope making, tomato and egg sorting demonstrations. Visitors learn how people lived without electricity and can see first-hand wooden ice boxes (early refrigerators), see early windmills that pump water and produce light. nearing 100 years old and still running! For the middle aged and senior visitors our artifacts bring back many memories of how folks lived. Remembering what life was like as a kid, seeing the transition from horse power to engines. The collection of artifacts by the Association has evolved from focusing on farming equipment only, to including historical artifacts depicting all aspects of pioneer life. The Museum collection has grown to over 6,100 historical artifacts of farming equipment and pioneer life in British Columbia, on display in two buildings and an outside exhibit area.
