Cedar Coast is located on Vargas Island just a short boat ride from Tofino. The facilities include a lodge for meals, activities, programs and socializing. Guests have the choice in stay in one of our 8 larger tents which are protected from the elements by metal roofs and cedar mud rooms and each has its own private en-suite bathroom with power, drinking water, hot water and a flush toilet. We also offer 3 smaller tents which are simple canvas wall-tents on cedar platforms with a bed, a desk, a chair and a wood stove.

Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond. U'mista Cultural Centre is one of the longest-operating and most successful First Nations cultural facilities in BC, founded in 1980 as a ground breaking project to house potlatch artifacts which had been seized by government during an earlier period of cultural repression. The return of the potlatch artifacts not only provided U'mista's name ('the return of something important'), and sparked a general trend toward repatriation of First Nations and cultural artifacts, it caused the creation of a physical facility and human resources infrastructure which have been successfully operated for over two decades.U'mista now operates a modern museum and cultural education facility in Alert Bay. Continuously occupied for over 4,300 years, Yuquot village became the capital for all 17 tribes of the Nootka Sound region. Known as the Birthplace of BC where first contact with European explorers and traders occurred 250 years ago. Attracted to the security of the harbour, it became known to explorers as Friendly Cove. As a result, Yuquot developed into an important centre of trade and diplomacy, and it was briefly the site of Spains only military establishment in present-day Canada.
