Langara Fishing Lodge is a fishing resort located at Langara Island in British Columbia's remote Haida Gwaii (formerly the Queen Charlotte Islands), just south of Alaska. The lodge features comfortable accommodations and gourmet dining, just minutes from North America's best salmon fishing. Packages are all-inclusive from Vancouver, with option of guided or unguided fishing. Established in 1985, Langara Fishing Lodge was the first sport fishing lodge to open in remote Haida Gwaii. Nothing feels more like Victoria than the Pendray Inn and Tea House (formerly the Gatsby Mansion). A boutique B&B experience in a historic Victorian mansion where each of its 10 rooms has its own distinct characteristics and charm. A heritage building, the mansion does not have an elevator and may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

A quiet forest retreat awaits you. Between 4-5 pm we welcome you with tea /coffee or refreshments and home bakings or fruits. You will feel right at home. The clean air, the smell of cedar and the inviting fireplace are setting the tone for " I want to put my feet up" kind of feeling.( Yes you can!) Our home is tucked away in a 5 acre forest and surrounded by beautiful cedars and Douglas firs. In the main house, all suites provide full ensuite bathrooms with radiant in floor heating, luxurious robes, hairdryers and amenities. two suites offer air conditioning. Each room has a smart flatscreen TV, it's own fridge and coffeemaker the Woodpecker suite has an additional kitchenette and extra sitting dining area. Luxuriate in your queen size bed with wonderful air dried, high end sheets and bedding. Free WIFI in the whole area and Free off-street parking for all our guests. Our generous, full and gourmet Breakfast is served in our dining room between 7am and 9 am for our B&B guests. We serve fresh ground, fair trade organic coffee, fresh fruits and juices, most local products and always a warm protein dish and home made bakings and preservatives. We also offer a specious self contained and separate 2 bedroom cottage for guests. The main attraction for the cottage is the beautiful Kingsize bed, and Wood-stove, the lovely sun room and full stocked kitchen. It has a huge sun-deck and nice private garden. Saturday's Errington farmers market is a must and Coombs market, and Parksville's stunning beaches are less than 15 minutes away. Built in 1903 this beautiful house was remodeled into a B&B with 8 unique rooms. The house sits on 87 acres has a salt water swimming pool, meditation labyrinth, walking trails and peaceful gardens. The Musqueam Cultural Education Resource Centre and Museum features historical objects, contemporary art and a place to share Musqueam history and culture through song, stories, tours and activities. General admission $5. Guided group tours of the land and museum $300 (by appointment) land tours include the Chinese Market Gardens and the special relationship between the Chinese and Musqueam.
