Moosehead Lodge sits on the quiet shores of Moose Lake in British Columbias interior Chilcotin region, and is accessible only by float plane. The Chilcotin is one of the worlds finest areas for freshwater sport fishing. Our own lake features tremendous wet and dry fly fishing for wild rainbow trout, and float plane excursions provide access to world famous rivers like the Blackwater and Dean. This large scenic park and wilderness area contains five major lakes, two river systems, many small lakes, streams, waterfalls and rapids, which make this an outdoor recreation paradise.

Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.
