The Tin Whistle Brewing Company
Founded in 1995, Tin Whistle Brewing is the original craft brewery of the South Okanagan, offering a wide selection of beer for locals and visitors alike. Tin Whistle was named after the first locomotive train to run on the Kettle Valley Railway which when it was constructed connected the regions of the Okanagan Valley like never before. Look no further than the beer label for activity inspiration. Classic Series labels feature the flora and fauna of the Okanagan region, including Black Widow Dark English Ale, Coyote Blonde Ale, Killer Bee Honey Porter and Peach Cream Ale. Adventure Series labels feature local landmarks, including the Munson Mountain Lookout for Lookout IPA, the pristine Okanagan beaches for Coco Galore Coconut Hopfenweisse and the Penticton Channel float for the Morning Glory Guava Hazy Pale Ale. Tin Whistle focuses on making great beer, with less impact. They are the first certified carbon neutral brewery in BC.

We are a family run vineyard and boutique winery producing hand selected, single vineyard, low yield artisan wine located in beautiful south Langley along the Campbell Valley Wine Route.
Lowhee Campground
This well-treed campground offers a private and peaceful setting for campers of all kinds, with a deep forest on the south end in the first-come, first-served section, transitioning to a wetland on the north end in the reservable section. Lowhee Campground has 47 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 33 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, three washroom buildings with flush toilets and potable water, as well as a coin-operated shower house. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 50 feet long and 14 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs when backed into the sites. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. Lowhee Campground is located along the west side of Barkerville Highway, 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Lowhee via the highway, or via a well-groomed walking path alongside the highway. Lowhee Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.

Through the Haida Heritage Centre at Kay Llnagaay we celebrate the living culture of the Haida. Through our language, art and stories we share our relationship with the land and sea that which shapes, nourishes and sustains us. Kay Llnagaay protects and fosters Haida culture by reaffirming our traditions and beliefs, encouraging artistic expression, and serving as a keeper of all that we are. Kay Llnagaay is a place for the Haida voice to be heard. The Haida Gwaii Museum opened in 1976 and continues to build an international reputation for showcasing Haida historical and contemporary art, All-Island artists and an outstanding collection of objects, artifacts and scientific material culture. The Museum is committed to encouraging and facilitating creative dialogue and exploring a more holistic and critical view of the multiple and diverse ways of understanding Haida Gwaii home to one of the most prominent Northwest Coast First Nations cultures (Haida), and rich ecosystems in Canada.
