Nipika Mountain Resort is an eco and adventure resort in the heart of the Canadian Rockies between Radium Hot Springs, BC and Banff, AB. The resort is off the grid, sourcing power from the sun and surrounding forest. All of Nipikas electricity is generated with renewable, clean solar energy. The log cabins are self-contained with everything you need for a relaxing stay: full kitchen, bathroom, linens, and log fireplace. Nipika is the gateway to the Cross River Canyon Trails, spanning 1,500 acres, set along the Kootenay and Cross River valleys. We build and maintain the trail system that starts at the cabins doorsteps. We have something for everyone: mountain biking, hiking, trail running, canoeing, disc golf, and swimming in summer and fat biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and skating in winter. This well-treed campground offers a private and peaceful setting for campers of all kinds, with a deep forest on the south end in the first-come, first-served section, transitioning to a wetland on the north end in the reservable section. Lowhee Campground has 47 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 33 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, three washroom buildings with flush toilets and potable water, as well as a coin-operated shower house. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 50 feet long and 14 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs when backed into the sites. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. Lowhee Campground is located along the west side of Barkerville Highway, 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Lowhee via the highway, or via a well-groomed walking path alongside the highway. Lowhee Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.

Upgrades will be continuing. 25 minutes from Nelson & Whitewater Ski Resort, 20 minutes from Backcountry skiing on Kootenay Pass. Salmo is the Hub of the Kootenays, with lower priced accommodation than Nelson. Come and enjoy little Salmo.

The Ferry Building Gallery is a public community gallery operated by the District of West Vancouver. Located at the center of the Ambleside Landing area in one of West Vancouvers oldest buildings, it serves as a hub for arts and culture. The gallery presents up to 18 exhibitions annually to more than 500 visitors each week. The mandate of the gallery is to support the development of emerging and established artists from the North Shore, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast. By organizing art lectures, workshops, tours and programs that reflect the cultural diversity of the North Shore, the gallery provides valuable and enriching artist-led experiences to the community. The Ferry Building Gallery is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation and Musqueam Nation. We recognize and respect them as nations in this territory and their historic connection to the lands and waters around us since time immemorial.

Bethlehem Centre is a cottage-at-the-lake style retreat and conference centre. Ideal for residential groups of 10-40 people, the Centre offers an all-inclusive experience with full meal service and on-site opportunities for quiet reflection and spiritual path-making. Situated on the shores of Westwood Lake at the foot of Mount Benson in Nanaimo, the Centre is a 5-minute walk from a swimming beach, is surrounded by forest, and is connected to miles of hiking trails. The Centre has an outdoor Chartres-style labyrinth, a finger labyrinth museum, a gift shop, a library, an organic vegetable garden and a contained eco-system outdoor pond. SunLund By-The-Sea RV Park & Cabins, in Lund BC, offers self-contained cabins and 32 full-service RV sites, ocean access and free wifi. The showers and laundromat are very, very clean. A 3-minute walk to restaurants, grocery store, kayak rentals, marina, boat tours, water taxi, hotel, and other shops. Security gate, 24-hour staff First Aid certified. Ice, firewood, amenities and souvenirs are available at the office. SunLund is not a party campground. As a courtesy to other campers, no check-ins after 9pm and quiet time is 10pm.

The Exploration Place is Northern BC's largest museum and only science centre Come discover local history, explore hands-on science, experience new exhibits, shop to your heart's content in Elements Retail, and grab delicious, fresh, locally-made treats in Origins Kitchen. The Little Prince Steam Engine operates seasonally, from the May long weekend to the September Labour Day statutory holiday, and then on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.
