Later in his teenage years he was lucky enough to have an older brother with a boat, they would fish every chance they had! John gives the upper hand with his knowledge and years of experience working on his families commercial Prawn and Tuna boat. Now as a Tug boat captain since 2006 and a sport fishing guide since 2007, here in the local west coast waters Johns marine experience is second to none.

The Musqueam Cultural Education Resource Centre and Museum features historical objects, contemporary art and a place to share Musqueam history and culture through song, stories, tours and activities. General admission $5. Guided group tours of the land and museum $300 (by appointment) land tours include the Chinese Market Gardens and the special relationship between the Chinese and Musqueam.

Arlo's Honey is a two time award-winner at the Inter-Provincial Exhibition and has been cherished as gifts. Book a tour of the honey farm. Learn about the importance of bees to agriculture, an overview of the hive, and enjoy viewing the bees, or book an extended tour where they will open up a hive for you to see. Tours also include a taste of honey and must be booked in advance. Based on the philosophy healthy bees are happy bees, Arlo's strives to create a clean environment of minimum stress. Journey back in time at Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum, a volunteer-led museum and restoration project located in Fairfield. On Thursdays and Fridays at 11AM and 1PM, or Saturdays at 2PM, walk down the path past heritage apple trees and beautiful gardens and step into one of only a few 1860s houses still standing in Victoria. From the bright and airy drawing room to the charming childrens bedroom, the house has been restored with extraordinary care to appear as it did when the Roscoe family called it home.
