Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud. Our small-ship expeditions provide extraordinary and intimate opportunities from April to November, for small groups of six guests to be immersed in the ancient cultures and stunning wildlife of Canadas Pacific Coast. Welcome to the bright and sunny North Okanagan! Here at Days Inn Vernon, welcoming smiles and warms hearts greet you. Every site has a picnic table and a firepit available for your camping experience. We are only a 1 mile walk to West Lake Provincial Day Park. At West Lake Campground we want to make your Families camping vacation as relaxing and pleasant as possible.

McLean Mill is a rare, surviving example of an early-to-mid 20th century logging and lumber operation in British Columbia. Established in 1925 by Robert Bartlett McLean, his wife Cora and their three sons, it continued as a family-run operation until 1965. McLean Mill was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1989 to commemorate its collection of extant resources related to significant aspects of the forest industry. Whether you wish to take in the history or to go for scenic walk with your family or fur baby, you wont be disappointed. The surroundings are breathtaking and informative. Grab the family, bring a picnic and make it a day at the Mill! 10am-4pm 7-Days/Week during the summer season, however the Mill and Steam Donkey are non operational at this present time. Take a Self-Guided Walking Tour and explore the historic site, buildings and machinery. Admission during the summer season is $10/Adult, $5/Students/Seniors & 7 and Under is Free.
