Ramada Nanaimo is the newest Hotel in the City of Nanaimo, Construction was finished in early 2008. Free continental Breakfast, Fitness Center, Business Center, and many other amenities. We are located in the heart of downtown Nanaimo.

We offer 10 log lakeside cabins. And over 20 campsites all located on Fishpot Lake. The main lodge has a licensed resterant, small convienence store and sells basic fishing and hunting supplies and tags. We have a swim dock with diving board and can boast nice swimming through the summer months. We rent boats with electric motors and a canoe as well for touring around the lake. We also have a boat launch, but we do have a motor boat restriction size of 10 horsepower or less gas motors. We have a covered barbeque area and a playground for children as well. We are a full service campground with all pull through sites that have 30 amp power, water and sewer. We also have two large areas that you can tent or have group gatherings. There is also a shower/laundry house where you pay $1.00 for 10 minutes in the shower and $2 to wash and $2 to dry your laundry.

Lakeside gardens is an old fashioned family style resort, beach, boats, and swings in the trees. we cherish the timeless charm of our one bedroom cedar cottages, overlooking the lawn and beach. Our simple lakeside cabanas are fun, comfortable and inexpensive, and share camp style washrooms

Although this is a small cottage it has a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom,one double bed and a fold out couch,unique eating area and a comfortable sitting area.There is also a semi private patio for your use.There is a small Gift Shop on premises.Sorry no kids and No pets.We are a 3.5 block walk away from the ferry dock,and a five minute walk from the ocean.
