Oyama Lake Eco Lodge is situated on a volcanic lake with 27 islands, 15 cabin rentals, as well as a few camping sites. Stay the night or come up for the day and rent a boat. We offer canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, motorized fishing boats as well as lager pontoon boats. Oyama lake is great for fly fishing, trolling behind a boat, swimming, relaxing or exploring. Three of our cabins come with private washrooms, however, there is also a shared ladies powder room and a shower house on-site. All cabins have their own fire-pit as well as access to a communal BBQ area. There is a small store on-site, but it is recommended that you bring up your own food and water. Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao.
