Spindrift is located on Welbury Point: a secluded six acre peninsula just four miles from the village of Ganges on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. Our six cottages are situated at sea's edge near the entrance to the Point. The remainder of this scenic peninsula is left in its natural state of arbutus and fir groves with paths winding easily to private, white sand beaches. Small cove beaches, lawns and grassy niches along the Point provide quiet seclusion with broad ocean vistas.

Our small groups allow for one-on-one, customized, instructions as well as keen attention to your hiking experience. Our photographer and guide is an avid traveler, photographer and hiker. Spending over a decade each in British Columbia and Alberta, he has organized hikes for 15+ years for locals and visitors. He has also traveled to 56 countries in 6 continents. He loves to share his passion for travel, the outdoors and photography with everyone!

If youre looking for a friendly hotel in Port Hardy, if you are travelling on business, work or for a holiday look no further than The Airport Inn. Our 43 renovated guest rooms include 58 inch flat screen, 3/4 sized fridge, microwave and coffee maker. New Kitchenette units are available but limited. WI-Fi and telephones are included in each guest room. On-Site laundry available. Liquor store is available 11am to 11pm. Late check-ins are available. Shuttle service to Port Hardy Airport is available. Free continental breakfast available during peak season. You can take advantage of some of the amenities offered by The Airport Inn, including baggage storage. In addition, guests can enjoy an on-site restaurant during their visit. Meeting rooms are now available. The API Pub is now Thursday to Saturday. As an added convenience, there is free parking available to guests. EV charging station is available.
