A scenic 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge is 14km from the ferry terminal at Langdale. It is a charismatic, family-run cedar house nestled amongst many large cedar and fir trees, and is an easy 10-minute walk to the "Heart of the Roberts Creek". The lodge includes a guest kitchen, large sun-deck with hammocks and barbecue, friendly common areas, free loaner bikes, boardgames, and a resource library and book swap. You will have the choice to stay in our 7 bed-dorm Arbutus, or in one of our 3 private rooms: the Fir room (up to 4 people), the Cedar room (up to 5 people), and our lovely Cherry Cabin situated in our garden (up to 2 people). We are the only hostel situated on the lower Sunshine Coast - and you can stay with us from only $28 per night! So come and enjoy a rest in the Creek, but be aware, you'll want to stay longer!

We feature off street parking in a rural family neighbourhood, a private entrance, a large library in the common room, Secured WIFI or high speed internet (Mac), private 3/4 bath, Queen size bed, free local calls, sight seeing trip planning, event venue and of course our gardens to simply relax in.Local ingredients are used in preparing our special Salsbury Breakfast when seasonally available. Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. Link River is a spectacular campsite located on the shores of Alice Lake and Link River. This campground offers amazing fishing, boating, swimming, and so much more. Open year-round, with paid bookings required from May to October while our caretaker is on-site. From October to April enjoy free camping on a first come, first serve basis. Please be aware that during this time, the park is user maintained. Link River campground has seen substantial updates and expansion recently, including the creation of several new group sites & pull-through sites. There are 2 sheltered BBQ areas, concrete boat ramp, beach, playground, horseshoe pits, axe throwing, Yardzee, and accessible washrooms. Propane firepits are available to rent (propane not included), and can be used during seasonal fire bans. There is no power, potable water, or sewer services. The Village of Port Alice is a short drive away and offers everything you could need including sani-station with potable water.
