Situated on the banks of the North Thompson River in Kamloops, Debbie and John Woodward invite you to their "Private Heaven". The result of their years of patience, care and quiet passion: PRIVATO. Crafted in small quantities, PRIVATO creates premium-quality, single-vineyard Burgundy wines. From their quaint and intimate tasting room to the picnic area and vineyards, the experience truly exudes a sense of charm. On the picturesque shore at the end of the Burrard Inlet lies the POMO Museum, once the committed terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway at the first navigable tide waters of the Pacific Ocean. Located beside Rocky Point Park and across from the Brewers Row, there’s lots to see and do. We have a Food Truck onsite, and we’re steps away from Rocky Point Ice Cream, Pajo’s and the Water Park. Accessible from Moody Centre Skytrain. The Museum, formerly the Port Moody Station Museum, is owned and operated by the Port Moody Heritage Society (PMHS) to promote and increase the awareness and knowledge of Port Moody’s heritage and history. Exhibitions at the Museum include the Historic Port Moody CPR Station itself, now in its 3rd location. See artifacts and walk through the parlour, kitchen, and telegraph room, recreated to reflect the station as it was in the 1930s. The Museum is currently featuring the exhibit ‘Port Moody Industries’ & ‘Our Living Languages: First Peoples Voices in BC’, on loan from the Royal Museum of BC, and our own ‘Inclusion’ Exhibit. We’re committed to Reconciliation and sharing the histories of Indigenous Peoples. Enjoy community displays, the Heritage Garden and the Meditation Garden. Our restored 1921 CPR railcar, the “Venosta”, is available to explore or to rent for events. Our mission is to promote an appreciation of community heritage by preserving and presenting history through events, exhibits, and programs. We welcome everyone to discover our shared heritage.

Lang Vineyards was the first "Farm Gate" winery opened in all BC. It is located high up on Naramata Bench. We have a tasting room, patio and an amazing view. Stop in and enjoy our award winning wines!

Shannon Lake Golf Club, playing among towering pines and moderate elevation changes, is a true test to golfers of all abilities. After golf, Courses Restaurant in the new clubhouse (2015) offers tasty pub fare selections. Shannon Lake is located in West Kelowna, a short distance from the Coquihalla Connector. If you are traveling from the Lower Mainland region for a Kelowna golf package, this is a great facility to visit at the beginning or end of your Kelowna golf vacation. Some exciting renovation projects were completed in 2018, as a number of tee decks were re-shaped and designed to improve your golf experience at Shannon Lake.

The Cranbrook History Centre is a landmark site located in Cranbrook BC. We preserve and display internationally recognized paleontology specimens, a nationally designated railcar collection, and serve as a repository for the history of Cranbrook and the East Kootenay region for all to explore and discover. Located in beautiful downtown Cranbrook, the History Centre offers something for visitors of all ages. The Centre is also home to the Trans-Canada Limited, a luxury train that ran in the 1920s, as well as many other restored Canadian trains.

The Bulkley Valley Nordic Centre features a 52 km network of cross country ski trails through sheltered spruce and pine forest. 11 km of the trails are dog friendly. 5.5 kms of lit trails provide an excellent opportunity for skiing after work or school. Trail lights are on until 9:30 pm every night. The trails are groomed and set for both classic and skate techniques frequently. The Buchfink Memorial lodge offers a kitchen, indoor washrooms, change rooms, and a roomy seating area upstairs. The Gary Murdoch Memorial wax hut provides a warm and functional space for waxing.
