Yellowhead Helicopters since 1975 has provided helicopter services to the public, industry and government from bases located throughout northern BC. Our operations centre is located in Prince George coordinates the fleet from bases along Yellowhead Highway 16 from Terrace to Valemount, and north to Stewart, Fort St John and more. The Chetwynd Visitor Centre is conveniently located and has ample parking for RVs. The Visitor Centre is within walking distance of many of our 170+ chainsaw carvings sculptures including the annual competition carvings. Basic facilities are public washrooms, high-speed internet with coffee lounge and is pet friendly. Bikes and sport equipment is available for free use during your visit.
