The winerys tasting room and wine shop are housed in the estates well-restored, heritage stone home, which dates back to the early 1900s. Summer tastings are offered on the patio to enjoy the spectacular views. Tasting enhancements such as charcuterie & cheese can be added to your wine tasting. The Pacific Rim Visitor Centre offers a primary arrival and meeting destination for those venturing to the Pacific Rim region on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Immediately following your drive over the Pacific Rim Highway (Hwy 4) from Port Alberni, you will reach our headquarters at the Junction between Ucluelet and Tofino. Our wheelchair accessible facilities offer a staffed Visitor Information Centre, a Parks Canada center, large maps of the region, public WiFi, secure garbage and recycling boxes, public restrooms, and plentiful parking for both RV's and regular vehicles. We will be closed early on December 31st at 3pm and closed all day January 1st and 2nd.

Fortress Lake Wilderness Retreats facilities are cozy and definitely comfortable. Our private guest cabins are inviting and warm, framed and paneled in tongue and groove pine, with a canvas exterior.
