We are a boutique oceanfront resort in the heart of Tofino, nestled between old growth cedars, hanging on the edge of the shore. Originally built in the late 1960's our property & its architecture are the definition of cabin vibes. A rich natural landscape surrounds the property which consists of an A-frame house and two A-frame cabins. With our modern surf shack cool, the comforts of home, and thoughtful touches we offer an inspiring yet laid back feel.

A cozy single story motel conveniently located on the south end of Parksville across from the Heritage Center Mall. All rooms have large flat screen TV's, coffee, microwaves, fridges, high speed internet, very comfortable beds, very quiet, close to the beach, across from restaurant, Serious Coffee, laundry mat. Lots of free parking, room for RV's. We are environmentally responsible with the newest most efficient heating and air conditioning, we also have efficient water usage without compromising the comfort of our guests. We are small dog friendly and have some kitchenettes available. We are maximum comfort and value and know you will be impressed. Visitors can feel the heat of the fire as the blacksmith works at the forge, hear the rhythm of the platen press at the Burnaby Post, smell freshly ground coffee in the General Store, be a 1920s student in a one-room schoolhouse, watch the tinsmith cut, crimp & curl flat sheets of tin into useful household items. Everyone is welcome to take a ride on the 1912 CW Parker Carousel, explore the restored 1912 Interurban Tram, and enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlour. The Village is open seasonally (Spring Break in March, Summer Season- early May to Labour Day, and Heritage Christmas-late November to early January) and year-round for pre-booked groups and programs.

The Tumbler Ridge Museum is home to the Dinosaur Discovery Gallery and the Peace Region Paleontology Research Centre. The central display features a full-scale re-creation of a 100 million-year-old dinosaur track environment, with additional displays on dinosaur and other vertebrate tracks and traces, which make up the vast majority of the terrestrial vertebrate record of western Canada. The interactive theatre provides several presentation options for visitors to view and learn about the pre-history of the Peace Region of British Columbia. During the summer the Gallery offers Trackway Tours, Day Camps for kids ages 7 13, and Drop in programs for kids and families of all ages. The Tumbler Ridge Human History Gallery is housed in the Community Centre with free access during regular Centre hours.
