During the winter, Silver Star Ski Resort is near the top of the mountain and only takes 1/2 hour to wind through the most beautiful scenery toward a wonderful ski trip. One of those areas is the Wells Gray Park, 5200 sq. kilometer of protected wilderness in Central British Columbia. Bounded on the north and east by the Cariboo Mountains, and on the west by an upland plateau, the Wells Gray Park encompasses a broad spectrum of mountain scenery. The area is abundant in flora and fauna. Caribou, moose, black bear, beaver and wolf freely roam the park, and local streams are well stocked with trout. Horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, river rafting, hiking and canoeing into the local wilderness are all part of the ranch's daily summer routine. The Wild Turkey Inn is set in a Victorian heritage home, built in 1896, during the time of Rosslands famous Gold Rush. Three blocks from downtown, we are a self-catering lodge with a total of three guest rooms.

Arrowsmith Golf & Country Club is a semi-private, executive length golf course located 10 minutes north of Qualicum Beach. We have 300 Members and welcome all public players to our course. Arrowsmith is challenging enough for experienced golfers, yet not intimidating for less experienced golfers.
